
However, the MPD ultimately remains the primary agency in the city and has the authority to investigate all crimes in the city regardless of the location it took place. On June 19, 2022, at 2:14 am, 24th District officers responded to a report of a male shot at 3200 G St. The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigation Group is asking for the public’s assistance for information in reference to this shooting incident.
